A message from the founder

"Hello, I’m Kaji Junayed Hasan Nayeem, the creator of Our-Narsingdi.org. This platform was born out of a personal struggle—when my father needed blood for surgery, I realized how difficult it was to find donors in an emergency. That experience motivated me to create a nonprofit blood donation platform dedicated to my district, where donors are listed by blood group, making it easier for patients to get the help they need. Today, with 350+ active donors and 180+ successful donations, we are making a real impact in Narsingdi. Blood is a life-saving resource that cannot be artificially produced—it must come from generous individuals willing to donate. Every drop matters. A single donation can save up to three lives. In Bangladesh, a country of over 160 million people, we need around 900,000 bags of blood each year. This is an achievable goal, but only if we raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation. At Our-Narsingdi.org, we are committed to educating people about the benefits, eligibility, and misconceptions surrounding blood donation. Many are unaware of how safe and beneficial donating blood is—not just for recipients but also for donors themselves. Together, we can build a stronger, more prepared community where no one has to struggle to find life-saving blood. I invite you to be a part of this mission.
